Lustre is a massively parallel filesystem designed for high-performance, large-scale data.

Lustre is mature and open source (GPL2), running stably in production at many hundreds of sites around the world.  Seven of the ten fastest supercomputers in the world rely on Lustre for storage including the fastest, Tianhe-1A at the National Supercomputing Center in Tianjin, China, and the second fastest, Jaguar at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the USA.

If you need lots of data, fast and reliably, Lustre is the right choice for you.
